May 8th, 2020 and we have over 15,000 acres of soybeans and 6,000 acres of corn in the ground!

Even with less than ideal weather conditions and a higher amount of equipment breakdowns than we are used to, we've been rolling! Our guys have been working night and day (literally almost 24/7) to try and get finished up before the end of May. With the coronavirus limiting our labor force, we've had to work harder and longer than ever before to get more done with less people - but it proves to us just how important having quality team members can be during tough times! We've had to rely on our core team to work harder than ever before, and they're pulling through in a big way!

Yesterday, Cole McBee even broke the one day planting record, putting 511.43 acres of soybeans in the ground using a 40 ft John Deere 1990 CCS air seeder! With rain forecasted over the next week without a dry break, the next time we're in the field, we'll need performances like that in order to finish before our May 31st timeline.

Let's see if we can do it!

Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you on the other side of planting season!
