I've started this post about six different ways and torn all of them up, because there's no version of "thank you" big enough for what the last few weeks have been. So I'll just say it plain, the way I'd say it to your face: we are floored. The orders, the messages, the folks tuning in every Monday night — it's more than we ever expected, and this whole family feels it.
We're a real farm before we're anything else. Cattle don't care what's trending. But when the beef starts flying out the door faster than we planned, when the tallow and the snack sticks and everything else keeps selling out — that's not a number on a screen to us. That's families across the country deciding to put our work on their table. I don't take that lightly. None of us do.

Two daughters. I couldn't be happier for my brother. There's nothing that grounds you quite like a new baby coming — it reminds you exactly what all this work is for. The long days, the pressure, the fight to keep this farm going — it's for the next generation of McBees. And there's about to be one more of them.
