Planting Season: In the Books
Another planting season is officially in the books here at McBee Farm & Cattle Co — and let us tell you, it feels good.
Every spring, we push hard. Long days turn into longer nights, and everything revolves around one goal: getting seed in the ground at the right time, in the right conditions. There’s no margin for error and no time to waste. It’s the most critical stretch of the year, and it demands everything we’ve got.
But now, the tractors are parked. The planters are put away for the season. The rows are straight, and every acre is planted.
This season didn’t come without its challenges, but as we look across the fields, we’re filled with pride. Now begins a different kind of season — one where patience and prayer take the lead. We’ve done our part; now it’s up to Mother Nature to do hers. A good rain here and there, sunshine when we need it most, and a little grace from above — that’s the hope.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll be walking fields, checking emergence, and doing everything we can to support healthy crops. But for now, we’ll take a moment to breathe, be thankful, and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done.
Here’s to a strong growing season and a great harvest to come.
