The Corn Star Award - The "Heisman" of Farming!

Farming is a team effort. It takes dedication, grit, and a lot of long days to keep things running smoothly. And when planting season finally comes to an end, we make sure to take a moment to recognize the MVPs of our operation with our annual Corn Star Award Ceremony.

For us, this award is more than just a trophy—it’s the Heisman Trophy of farming. Voted on by everyone on the farm, the Corn Star Award goes to the team member who worked the hardest, had the best attitude, and provided the best leadership throughout planting season. It’s our way of showing appreciation for the people who go above and beyond to keep things moving forward.

This year, the vote came down to a dead tie between Dustin and Gibson, two guys who embody everything the award stands for. Both of them put in the hours, led by example, and kept spirits high even on the toughest days. They more than earned the title of Corn Star Award Recipients for 2024.

To celebrate, we did what we do best—we threw a big cookout on the farm. With over 300 attendees, including farm staff, family, and friends, it was a night filled with great food, good company, and plenty of well-earned recognition for the incredible work put in this season.

At the end of the day, farming isn’t just about crops and cattle—it’s about the people who make it all happen. And we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate Dustin, Gibson, and our entire team for another season of hard work and dedication.
