Because it's not the same product. Grocery store meat is commodity-raised, often sourced from large industrial operations, and can sit in a case for days before you buy it. Does frozen meat taste as good as fresh?
Yes — when it's done right. Flash-freezing immediately after processing locks in flavor and quality far better than "fresh" meat that's been sitting in a grocery store case for days. Thaw it in your refrigerator overnight and you will not be able to tell the difference.

The website is beautifully laid out and very easy to navigate. I ordered the four New York strip steaks, plus the all-beef franks and the ground beef. My order arrived beautifully boxed and inside was a Styrofoam cooler. The meat was all still frozen and arrived in a timely fashion. I have to say that the steaks are absolutely delicious and even impressed my skeptical husband (who thought I was ordering just because of the show). He was very surprised!! And I am very happy with the quality. It far surpasses any grocery store. It's nice knowing where your meat is coming from. Not being commercially processed is a win for me. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Honestly when I bought these I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know how big they'd be, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are nice and thick and the marbeling is great. They cooked up well and were thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend !
